Here’s a dude who’s spent his entire life talking to little guys on his knee, but now he’s chatting with some amazing folks he can’t actually stuff in a box. Guests are from all walks of life, and they’ve become masters at their chosen profession, each with their own 10,000 hours of experience and a lifetime of dedication to whatever they do. The person may or may not be famous, but you’ll find out what drives them, but also what they did when they almost didn’t “make it.” Hear about the times they had true doubts, or when life threw curveballs and they had to push back and persevere. In addition, at the end of each episode you’ll hear from at least one of the guys out of Jeff’s suitcase introducing a live performance segment from a show on the road. Listen now!

The “story” format seems to be appearing everywhere now hint hint Instagram, Facebook Messenger & of course Snapchat.
What is it that makes the format work so well?
Connection — Most stories are filmed with the front facing camera creating a personal 1-on-1 feel between the creator and the viewer.
Vertical — First off I love the vertical angle for a number of reasons but it just feels right, in terms of stories it works wonders and changes the way the story is told resulting in this unique media.
Ordering — As stories are shown from the oldest to newest clip you get to watch moments unfold which is a big change from algorithmic/time based feeds like Twitter which chop up messages designed to be consumed in ascending order.
It seems like more and more people are creating stories with value — however the content itself is different for each creator, but which style is the most engaging?
The aim of this podcast is to find an answer to this question!

It's conversational, and loosely held together by discussion of things we consider to be 'a shame' which, so far, have ranged from bad Edinburgh Fringe stand-up to this one racist guy we found on Twitter in 2014.
We're looking for guests who have strong opinions about, usually, fairly trivial things to be part of our episode-ending feature.
The idea is simple (so simple, in fact, that it’s effectively stolen/borrowed from Room 101). Essentially, given that the basic premise of our show is to discuss th...
"My team has followed Donald Miller and the StoryBrand framework for a couple years now. We've been applying it to our clients and watching them grow. Since it's a starting point in our marketing work, we make sure they have a copy of this book. It lays the framework out in simple form. Just start reading & doing." Review by Will Waltrous.
