Murder Mindset
Dark. Investigative. Unflinching. Dive deep into the minds of killers with Murder Mindset, a true crime podcast exploring the psychological, social, and behavioral forces that turn ordinary people into murderers. Each season focuses on a distinct type of crime, from familicide and crimes of passion to deadly love triangles, unraveling the patterns, motives, and warning signs often hidden in plain sight. Through detailed case studies, expert insights, and survivor perspectives, Murder Mindset goes beyond sensational headlines to examine why these crimes happen—and the impact they leave behind
This podcast is looking for the following guests...
Murder Mindset is seeking thoughtful, credible guests who can bring depth, expertise, and nuance to complex homicide cases and the systems surrounding them. Ideal guests are not sensationalists—they are professionals, researchers, and lived-experience voices who prioritize facts, ethics, and victim-centered storytelling.
We are especially interested in:
• Criminal justice professionals – former or current prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, law enforcement investigators, forensic specialists, and cold-case task force members who can explain how cases are built, where investigations fail, and how legal strategy shapes outcomes.
• Experts in behavior and trauma – forensic psychologists, psychiatrists, criminologists, sociologists, and researchers who can analyze motive, escalation, coercive control, abuse dynamics, and offender behavior without speculation.
• Journalists and authors – investigative reporters, documentary producers, and true crime authors with direct reporting experience, access to primary sources, or deep familiarity with specific cases.
• Advocates and system reform voices – victim advocates, domestic violence specialists, child welfare experts, innocence project affiliates, and policy reformers who can speak to institutional breakdowns and prevention.
• Lived-experience contributors – survivors of violence, family members of victims, or individuals directly impacted by homicide cases, participating voluntarily and with care, whose voices add perspective rather than retraumatization.
Guests should be comfortable with long-form, research-driven conversation, open to challenging but respectful questions, and able to speak clearly to a broad audience. Above all, Murder Mindset values integrity, accuracy, empathy, and a commitment to telling difficult stories responsibly—without glorifying offenders or exploiting tragedy.
