About Blake Kraft

Hi everyone! I'm a filmmaker, actor and podcast producer located in Austin Texas. I'm skilled at camera operating, video editing, lighting, photography, assistant camera, production assistant, running slate and other things! I want to gain more experience in those areas as well as directing, director of photography, being on more talk shows, cinematography, audio, voice acting, screenwriting and producing. I also want to get into drone operating, broadcasting and public speaking (where I speak in front of audiences). I've participated in SkillsUSA competition in 2015 and 2016 and won 2nd place in Audio Production in 2015 and 3rd place in Broadcast News Production in 2016 and my documentary Kraft Minded has been screened at a couple film festivals and won 2nd place short film of 2022 at the Alamo City Film Festival in July 2022. I've also been on a talk show "Caught on the Hook" in the episode "Beyond the Spectrum" in March 2023 in Dallas Texas where I shared my success in life and in my career despite my disability of Autism. Also in Dallas Texas I was camera operator at AT&T Performing Arts Center and two art galleries filming fashion models and interviewing artists and an awards ceremony.

I like to do freelance work but I would like to work part time or full time at a film studio, video production company or at a TV/radio station or some other place that makes film or TV or that does other things in the film, media, acting or entertainment industry. I'm always willing to travel for a film project or any other project as long as it's a paid project/gig and if the meals, hotel and travel are provided/paid for or partially paid for. I've been in the film industry for almost a decade since 2014 and have a bachelor's degree in film production which I graduated in 2019. I hope to go for a master's degree and possibly a doctorate degree in film production at University of Texas at Austin in Fall 2024 to get a higher education. I'm wanting to network with others in the film/media industry and do projects with you all someday! Hope to work with you soon and and discuss future participation in your future projects! Every film gig is an adventure for me as I always say! I never let anything or anyone stop me from achieving my dreams no matter how difficult things get and I always find a way through! :) :)
