: Chandler Picot is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and NC Certified Peer Support Specialist working to solve one of the most urgent problems in his community: the lack of safe, structured housing for people rebuilding their lives after addiction and homelessness. As Program Director, he runs low intensity clinical residential services across North Carolina that serve people experiencing homelessness, those with substance use disorders, and individuals with intellectual disabilities, people the system too often leaves behind. Chandler is not just running programs, he is building infrastructure. He actively runs his own recovery practice, Picot Recovery, creating a pathway to more housing capacity for the people who need it most. He brings a rare combination to a conversation: lived experience with addiction and recovery, frontline clinical and program management expertise, and an entrepreneur's drive to scale solutions instead of waiting on the system to catch up.
