About Jo Deans

Jo Deans is the author of ElevEn: Biblical Business Archetype Pathways and the founder of the ElevEn Discovery System™, a faith-based discovery and alignment system that helps entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals, ministry leaders, and purpose-driven builders understand how God wired them to build. ElevEn™ was not born from theory. It was formed through more than 30 years of building, leading, advising, and helping organizations grow through strategy, leadership, operations, opportunity, and expansion. Throughout her career, Jo has supported federal contracting businesses across multiple stages of growth, including helping one company grow from approximately $3 million to more than $100 million in about five years. Through that experience, Jo learned that sustainable success does not come from imitation, pressure, or constant striving. It comes from understanding the assignment, discerning the season, stewarding opportunity well, and operating in alignment with how God designed you to build. Long before ElevEn™ had a name, Jo was living its principles. She was learning how to recognize what fit, what did not fit, what was hers to carry, what needed to be released, and how to lead in a way that aligned with her God-given design. ElevEn™ began as a quiet framework beneath her work and morphed into a way of seeing patterns, recognizing design, and moving with clarity, strategy, and purpose. Today, Jo shares ElevEn™ because she believes many people love God deeply but still struggle to connect their faith with their work, business, leadership, and calling. Some are building with pressure. Some are carrying comparison. Some are successful but exhausted. Others know they are called to build something but need language, clarity, and direction for their next step. Through her writing, speaking, workshops, and the ElevEn Discovery System™, Jo helps builders understand that work matters to God, calling is not one-size-fits-all, and how we build matters. Her work is rooted in the belief that faith and work were never meant to be separated and that God has uniquely designed each builder to create, steward, lead, restore, and serve with purpose. What drives Jo is helping people stop copying someone else’s blueprint and begin building in alignment with the assignment God placed in their hands. She cares deeply about helping faith-driven builders move from confusion, comparison, and burnout into clarity, confidence, faithful action, and lasting Kingdom impact.
