About Peter Kostka

Before diving into specifics, my startup's goal is to revolutionize the future of the automotive and cleantech industries through machine learning.

In university, I received a M.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics, after which, I started working in hardware development and design. I have 10 years of experience leading multidisciplinary hardware product development teams, and 10 years using and testing simulation tools to optimize hardware design in the aerospace and automotive industries.

While working in those industries, I noticed a large lack of tools for hardware designers in order to analyze big data. Automotive telematics are estimated at $10B, and yet the industry has not adopted a product to help predict machinery failure and asset health. Companies are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to find a solution. Engineers are spending hours upon hours trying to look at complex data. This is why I started my company, Machinery Analytics.

At Machinery Analytics, we provide a software tool to analyze complex data, reducing warranty, service and development costs, and allowing companies to create more innovative and high quality products. The tool works by analyzing image & telemetry data, and has already delivered value to its existing customers.

This has been an incredible journey. We have launched many research projects with universities and early clients, and are well on our way to launch our product in October. I would love to discuss anything startup, machinery, automotive, cleantech, or artificial intelligence related.
