If George Carlin and Greg Girlado had a baby ... it would be f***ing weird since both are dead and neither had a uterus ... but you'd get Claudia Stavola's 100 Things to Hate Before You Die

About Claudia Comedy

If this were written in third person, I’d have to say something like, “Claudia’s been keeping folks in stitches since age five doing Fonz impressions to quell impending family arguments.” But Claudia wouldn’t say that because Claudia doesn’t care much for third person.

My foray into stand-up comedy began when I realized the office thing wasn’t for me (I hate casual Friday, and chipping in for gifts for people who grunt when I say hello in the hallway). I parlayed my comedy into writing satirical articles for Madhouse Magazine, and hosting the hard rock/heavy metal morning show on Monsters of Rock on Dash Radio—a station that boasts over 600,000 listeners per day. I can be heard weekdays from 8 a.m.–noon (EST).

I began writing my book of humorous essays, 100 Things to Hate Before You Die, a few years ago but things seemed to keep getting in the way. In 2019, I had a vertebral artery dissection in my neck (and blood clot) from an undiagnosed connective tissue disease. In 2022, I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. Through it all, I've still managed to find humor in the things I hate (Why do we need a candle that smells like Gwyneth Paltrow's vagina? Does anyone else want to shoot themselves at the idea of a double date? Why are "patriotic" guys always so angry?). My book is a compilation of fiery musings that would be great fodder for funny and irreverent podcasts.
