About Joseph Arnold

My name is Joe Arnold and I’d love to be on your podcast.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Louisville, Kentucky, who has served in churches, taught in middle and high schools, and was a residence hall director and an assistant football coach at a small college. Since then, I have served in various capacities as a professional counselor for the past 30 years. I’ve also just released a book, Good News for the Broken Self: A Sacred Invitation to a Healing Journey.
In Good News for the Broken Self, I invite readers on a profound journey to healing and self-discovery so that they can live a life of increasing significance and meaning. Along the way I share my own story of brokenness and restoration, while also presenting my belief that healing of our brokenness has been minimized and overlooked by large segments of the contemporary church leading to deep wounds that impact the very core of who we are. Using my experience both personally and in the field, I present "whole person" ideas that empower readers to embark on a path towards greater healing and authenticity.
Do you think your listeners would be interested in hearing more?
I’m happy to speak with you on any number of topics to include:
Brokenness within the church
Whole person healing – and why it matters
Hidden wounds that can keep us from healing
Family dynamics and relationships
Anxiety and stress and ways to overcome them
Please let me know if you would be interested in a collaboration. I look forward to hearing from you.
