About Alpesh VIRANI

Beyond technology, my curiosity has led me toward deeper questions about consciousness, the mind, the body, breath, and the timeless wisdom preserved in ancient traditions. I believe some of the simplest practices—when approached with awareness and discipline—can offer valuable insights for navigating the complexity of modern life. This exploration inspired my book, Everybody Thinks They’re Clever, which brings together ancient wisdom and modern perspectives to encourage a more conscious approach to everyday living. Living in a world increasingly shaped by smartphones, social media, artificial intelligence, and constant digital stimulation made me question something fundamental: As technology becomes smarter, are we becoming more conscious of how we live? This question inspired my book, Everybody Thinks They’re Clever. Modern life can keep us constantly stimulated, distracted, and disconnected from our natural rhythms. Long before smartphones and artificial intelligence, ancient traditions developed practices centered around conscious living, breath, movement, sunlight, discipline, and awareness. In Everybody Thinks They’re Clever, I explore how some of these time-tested principles can be understood and applied in modern life. The book brings together ideas from ancient Indian traditions with perspectives from modern science and research, creating a bridge between ancient wisdom and today’s fast-paced world.
