About Lois Hollis RN BSN REV

Lois Hollis RN BSN REV was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1943. She earned her RN from St. Joseph Hospital and achieved her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania. She gained experience as a nurse in open-heart surgery, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, and nephrology. She used her research, teaching, and consulting talents to help establish one of the first kidney hemodialysis units in the United States. After an intense eight years, Lois retired to consulting and married. Although she lost three pregnancies, God gave her three beautiful daughters.”

Despite her many accomplishments, her abusive childhood began to outweigh her vivacious lifestyle. She succumbed to guilt-ridden depression, heart and liver disease, 30 years of migraine headaches, and structural deformities. After ten years with traditional medical and psychological professions, she, with great sadness, turned to holistic health.
Lois could not remember her childhood but was shocked to learn that her abusive childhood left many scars. She was diagnosed with brain traumas, fractured jaw, broken neck, and congenital heart disease. Now she understood why she was unable to go outside in the daylight.
Her health improved with holistic remedies, and emotional counseling lessened her depression. Although Lois no longer considered suicide, she remained despondent, looking for the answer. God gave the several spiritual experiences that led her to find another way to heal.
Lois learned from her emotions that shame guilt distorts our biological systems and creates emotional and physical illnesses. Applying the release of shame and guilt from her life, she no longer had lingering depression. Her vitality soared. People noticed. They, too, wanted to do what she was doing, and they did. Lois was so busy she had to write a book.
Today Lois’ 50 years’ experience in health, 15 years of research, and counseling bring NEW knowledge of these misunderstood conditions to release us from shame guilt blaming. Lois’ first film, Out of Discord Into Harmony, was released in 2008 and teaches how to communicate with your inner self. Her new film I’M GOOD makes shame guilt visible. Lois lectured at Wharton School University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and other conferences. She shares three books. Her newest book, “Now Is the Time,” gives us her spiritual writings from the dimension of love to help us stop shame and guilt. She was given a death sentence at 55 and thrives at 77. Lois shows us how.
