Alexander Nieves - Executive Director of Nieves Ministries

Alexander Nieves is a dedicated community leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for social impact. As the Executive Director of Nieves Ministries, Alexander leads a nonprofit organization committed to serving the Denver community through outreach, security services, and impactful events. Born with limited vision in one eye and raised in a low-income household, Alexander’s early life experiences instilled in him resilience and compassion. His journey toward community service began in high school, where a class project with his teacher, Mr. Pineda, inspired him to create a nonprofit plan — a vision that became reality in 2024 with the founding of Nieves Ministries. Under his leadership, the organization has hosted events like the Puerto Rican Festival of Aurora, the Back to School Fest, and the upcoming Trunk or Treat event. Expanding their impact, Nieves Ministries is also developing The Harvest News, a magazine connecting businesses with the community, and Crystal Suites, a housing initiative for those in need. In addition to his nonprofit work, Alexander founded Pinnacle Defense, a security company that provides professional armed guard services to businesses and events across Colorado.

Balancing his leadership roles, Alexander is actively pursuing an Associate Degree in Business Marketing (expected December 2026) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on Digital Marketing. He also holds a Google Certification in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. With a passion for community engagement, storytelling, and ministry, Alexander continues to foster partnerships, inspire positive change, and build a stronger, safer community. Alongside his wife, Vanessa Campbell, who plays a key role in Pinnacle Defense operations, Alexander is dedicated to making a meaningful impact. His life’s work reflects his belief that compassion, dedication, and faith can create lasting change — a mission that drives Nieves Ministries forward..
