Hey, I’m Tom Alaimo

I started TA Sales as a side hustle during my 10-year career in sales. Funny enough, I was the last person you’d expect to go into this field. I was an introvert who used to be afraid to even pick up the phone to order a pizza.

Despite my mom begging me not to do it, I started selling Cutco knives door to door in college. Somewhere between the slammed doors and the occasional yes, I fell in love with sales, the competition, the challenge, and the opportunity to grow.

As my career moved into tech sales, I became obsessed with becoming what I call a "learning machine". I devoured every book, podcast, and video I could find about sales, leadership, and personal development. Along the way, I started sharing what I was learning through a newsletter, a podcast, and on LinkedIn, and people started paying attention.

Before long, sales teams began reaching out and asking if I could help train their reps. The rush I got from helping others level up quickly surpassed the high of closing another big deal, so I decided to go all in.

I left my job at Gong with just $5,000 in savings and a vision to dedicate my life to serving salespeople. Two years later, TA Sales has trained over 1,000 sales reps around the world, working with some of the fastest-growing companies out there, and we’ve been profitable since day one.

These days, I spend my time creating content, building courses and bootcamps, and growing our online community, all focused on helping salespeople win in business and in life.

I’ve spent over a decade selling everything from knives to million dollar software deals, and now I’m using those lessons to help others do the same.
