About Lauren Pells

Dr. Lauren Pells is an experienced elementary school principal, former Spanish teacher, and passionate advocate for equity in education. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia, her research focused on building leadership capacity in diverse school communities—especially those serving high populations of English learners, immigrants, and Hispanic/Latino students.

Lauren is currently an elementary school principal, but has worked with all age groups. She is known for her hands-on leadership, deep cultural responsiveness, and commitment to inclusive, high-impact instruction. Whether supporting multilingual learners, guiding aspiring leaders, or partnering with families, she brings practical insight, lived experience, and a relentless focus on what’s best for students.
