He currently serves as a pastor in a small town where he lives a quiet life with his wife and two children. He advocates for human dignity and believes this will be further protected by granting qualified robots’ legal personhood.
He is a graduate of William Carey University, where he earned a B.A. in Religion. He holds an M.T.S from Gateway Theological Seminary. He is a recent graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Th.M. and Ph.D. in Theology. His dissertation focused on a critique of Robotic Futurism and the potential of Dehumanization.
Josh uses his experience in the military, ministry, and academic world to bring together a work to help the local church think through the murky issues that face humanity in the wake of forthcoming AI-driven robots.
