I’m a longtime pet rescue leader, foster expert, and adoption advocate who has fostered more than 4,000 animals through my rescue, Starlight Outreach and Rescue. After years of taking in pets from every imaginable situation, I’ve seen exactly why families struggle and what it really takes to keep pets in homes and out of shelters.

Today I host The Pet Parent Hotline, where I share practical, real-world advice from veterinarians, trainers, behavior experts, and my own rescue experience to help pet parents feel confident, supported, and far less overwhelmed.

I also work with pet businesses, veterinarians, and rescues as a consultant, helping them strengthen client communication, improve operations, and create better experiences for both pets and people.

Whether I’m talking about adoption, fostering, behavior, budgeting, or the hidden challenges families don’t always admit, my goal is the same, to give people the clarity and tools they need to build a safe, sane, and lasting life with their pets.
