About Carrie-Lynn Hotson

I spent 25 years in a professional career -as a leader, an interview coach, an HR specialist, facilitator and mediator. I have utilized this experience to build my own HR consulting and leadership coaching business entitled Inspiring Organizational Growth. www.inspiringorganizationalgrowth.co. My passion lies in helping to re-energize organizations, helping leaders to learn the needed skills to empower and engage their employees and ultimately increase productivity, team synergy and profits.

I equate what I do with the game of hockey. I am not here to teach leaders to skate or the rules of the game (they already know the rules of business and the "game" very well) . Instead I am here to show them what the game looks like from bleachers, and how the game can be improved. I provide them real strategies to engage their "players", create great "lines", learn how to increase communication and build trust. I coach with them on the bench, and give them exercises to try with their employees. Together we will get to KNOW WHO YOU ARE LEADING, understand why issues are occurring, and inspire organizational growth.
I have also authored a new book entitled Knowing Who You Lead. I challenge the reader to truly get to know who they are and how they lead. I encourage the reader to delve deeper into themselves and to realistically assess their successes and failures as a leader. I share many of my own failures and life lessons to help bring these lessons to life. The book was a ton of fun to write, and is a culmination of my 25 years of experience as a leader, coach, facilitator, HR specialist and mediator.
