About Jenna L Schutt

Jenna Schutt is a professional voiceover artist, devotional writer, and former cardiac cath lab RN whose work lives at the intersection of clinical credibility, authentic faith, and real-life storytelling. Before she ever sat behind a microphone, Jenna spent years in the cardiac cath lab, holding the hands of scared patients and translating the most complex, high-stakes medical moments of their lives into language they could understand. That work shaped everything. The ability to be present, clear, warm, and trustworthy under pressure is not something Jenna learned in a voiceover booth. She brought it with her. Then she became the patient. Jenna was diagnosed with a rare disease called Systemic Mastocytosis with a KIT gene mutation, underwent a stem cell transplant, and now manages graft-versus-host disease as part of her daily life. She has sat on both sides of the bed rail, and that dual perspective, clinician and patient, shapes every word she writes and every read she delivers. Today, Jenna specializes in healthcare and medical narration, faith-based and devotional content, audiobook narration, commercial reads, and kids' characters and animation. She records from a professional broadcast-ready home studio with a Shure SM7B microphone and a Universal Audio Apollo Twin interface, delivering clean, polished audio with fast turnaround for clients ranging from healthcare eLearning companies to faith-based media organizations. Jenna is also a devotional writer and contributing author for Guideposts, one of the most widely read inspirational publications in the world. She runs a monthly devotional series and YouTube Live at jennaschutt.com, where her community comes for honest, faith-forward content that does not flinch from the hard stuff. She is currently developing her first book, The JOY Reflex, a prescriptive nonfiction work that argues that joy is not a feeling you chase. It is a reflex you train. Especially in suffering. Especially in the waiting. Especially when nothing feels joyful at all. Jenna homeschools her two boys, serves as a family event coordinator at her church, and shares her life alongside her Mini Australian Shepherd, Jade. She is based in Tilden, Nebraska.
