About David Yearout

My name is David, I'm 30 years old originally from Washington State. I got my college degree in Turfgrass Management, and moved to the east coast where I now work as a full time groundskeeper for a Major League Baseball team. My background of growing up constanttly around sports (baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, and horse racing), and now working first hand day in and day out in professional baseball gives me unique experiences and insights that sports fans typically find captivating. A very big passion of mine also is discussing mental health, particularly how it relates to the youth. My best friend committed suicide when we were 19, his death shaped who I am to this day. My own battles with depression for over a decade, and my unfortunate experience with it's worst possible outcome, has given me what I feel like is valuable insight that can be used positively to discuss mental health with people of all ages. I have done plently of discussions in person and on podcasts before, and would love to continue being a guest to talk about these subjects and more. Thank you for your time.
