About Amy Moreira

Amy Moreira, LMHC, LPCC holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. She specializes in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy services to individuals, couple's, and high-profile individuals including corporate leaders, professional athletes and celebrities navigating anxiety, depression, relationship, conflict, and stress management.

Amy is the author of the newly released therapeutic workbook for women entitled Self Love & EmpowHERment. She has a highly skilled mental health background in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, emergency services and education and correctional behavioral health environments. Today, Amy directs her focus to creating workbooks and workshops, consulting/speaking, and her remote private practice in California, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida - More MH Counseling.

Amy is trilingual, fluent in Portuguese and Spanish languages. She currently serves as a Chairperson on the Rhode Island Department of Health Board of Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists. She has been invited as a repeat guest lecturer for Rhode Island College's Marriage and Family Therapy Master's level course. She has been seated as a featured panel speaker for local organizations and events such as Rhode island Women's Council - Empowering Women From The Inside Out event. Her clinical insights have also been quoted as a topic expert on a variety of media outlets including BestLife, Thriveworks, Bustle, GenoMind and more.
