About Nathan Segal

I’ve been working as a freelance writer for 18 years. My main subject areas have been computer graphics and photography. I started out writing reviews but my editor quickly discovered that my talent lay in “how-to” articles. My best skill is taking complex information and transforming that into language that almost anyone can understand.
In addition, I use many screenshots, photographs and illustrations in my work. I find that people learn better when they’re given a visual of the task they need to accomplish. And sometimes, I create videos in addition to the printed instructions. For some tasks, video is the best way to learn.
