About Roy Haynes

Roy Haynes is a Virginia-based author who writes humor books about the petty battles of suburban life, HOA conflicts, neighborhood feuds, and the art of annoying uptight neighbors without technically breaking any laws.

After 30 years in IT and program management, Roy shifted to full-time writing and building digital projects with his wife, Mary. Together they create books, tools, and content for families, entrepreneurs, RV travelers, and anyone tired of living next to a Gary.

His debut book, "How to Decorate Your Lawn to Annoy Your Neighbors (And Win)," teaches readers the strategic art of holiday decorating as psychological warfare—complete with inflatable dinosaurs, theme confusion tactics, and HOA survival strategies.

When he's not writing, Roy's traveling in an RV, tinkering with AI projects, or planning his next series installment while Mary reminds him that their yard probably has enough decorations already.

Next up: "The Art of Passive-Aggressive Gift Giving" - because the holidays are just getting started.

Follow for suburban chaos, passive-aggressive life hacks, and terrible ideas executed brilliantly.
