About Michael Ruskin

My name is Michael Ruskin, writer, researcher, and author of the book The Vow: A Love Story and the Holocaust which is biography of my late parents, David and Dora Ruskin who were Holocaust survivors from Lithuania.   

My book is based on a true story which exemplifies the strength of the human spirit and the power of love which made the difference between life and death for my parents! FAITH, LOVE, COURAGE.. all qualities endowed in all of us by our Creator to overcome any challenge or hardship we face. This was the message my parents wanted to leave for humanity, but their words were left unspoken. I believe their miraculous story would be a perfect fit for your podcast which aligns to the central theme of my book.

I hold a BA Degree in Psychology and Political Science and have over 25 years of writing experience which includes memoirs, short stories and editing. 

My credentials also include 20 years as an historical researcher, public speaking, writing family memoirs and content writing and editing. I hold a BA in Psychology and Political Science from Kent State University and have 25 years in business consulting for fortune 100 companies in the United States.
