About Matt Parrish

Sergeant Major Matt Parrish is currently the Senior Enlisted Leader for the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Preservation of the Force and Family program. He is a Green Beret who has spent his entire career within Special Operations, including 13 years on Special Forces operational teams. He has multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as well most of the countries in Central and South America. He’s married, has three children, and enjoys performing with the SOCOM Para-Commando parachute demonstration team.

Matt is the co-host of SOCOM's official podcast, SOFcast, and enjoys discussing leadership, personal development, resiliency, and learning from others' perspectives. Matt's extensive experience within special operations has given him a unique view on the world, punctuated by stories and anecdotes that most outside of the community don't normally hear.
