About John Camacho

My background is a B.A. in Philosophy at Georgia State University where I became a Ronald E. McNair Post-Bac Scholar, researched theories of justice and did a second research project on the foundations of ethics at The Ohio State University, a Masters Degree in Philosophy at a top terminal Masters program at the University of Missouri, St. Louis where I worked on a thesis on the epistemology of testimony and empirical philosophy, taught a Business Ethics Course. I then received a law degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston. In law school, I was interested in oil and gas law and sports law and wrote a paper in international investment law.

I am currently happily unlicensed and have been writing on legal philosophy and concussions for the past two years. Currently, I’m a Contributor for Conduct Detrimental, A Sports Law Media Site. I’ve written 4 articles since joining last year including the PGA and Saudi Golf Deal and Lebron James’ Path to Las Vegas Ownership. I also am an Editor for Oxford Public Philosophy where I have edited articles, interviews, and book reviews. My sports teams are the New York Knicks, NYGiants, and The Ohio State University. I also write for the Peach Basket, an NBA website.
