About Lucy Todd

I climbed the ladder from intern to executive at a small digital startup in just 4 years. Even early on, I knew it wasn't my calling, but I rode it out — since it fit the traditional definition of success. But when our agency was acquired, there was a brand new ladder to climb — and it was a lot higher.

With insomnia, work nightmares, constant anxiety, and all the signs of burnout, I just couldn't climb another ladder. So I jumped. I broke the cardinal rule of career advice: never quit your job without another lined up.

But that jump is exactly what gave me the space and energy to discover what a fulfilling career looked like for me. Today, I'm a career transition coach helping millennial women feeling trapped in corporate to define career fulfillment for themselves. Not what corporate success wants, what society pushes for, or even what well-meaning friends and family advise them to do — but what they truly want.

It's so much more than building the right resume or nailing interview skills, because none of that matters if you're going after the wrong jobs. We start before all that — building self-trust, self-compassion, clarity, and confidence.

I love to talk about my abrupt transition out of corporate life, the pressures innate in certain industries like agency life (#toxic work environment or not), learning to trust your own feelings and opinions, and redefining success.
