Thank you for the response. My name is David Dippong, I’m a real estate professional living in Santa Monica. Each year I work to serve the Los Angeles & Orange County communities through helping more people achieve home ownership & generational wealth.

I work every day to educate people on how to own at least 1, preferably 2-3 homes over their life, then how to backwards calculate or create a plan to get there. Long-term planning like this is becoming increasingly scarce and more difficult for people with the instant gratification tendencies that we are developing as a modern society. The benefits of a little planning and budgeting now are years of peace of mind later knowing you have some options.

I would love the opportunity to benefit your listeners through changing the way they think about real estate. Buying & holding a single family home, condo, or duplex in Southern California and similar markets is one of the best ways to build for financial freedom and retirement. The benefit of owning real estate is being given options when life gives you opportunities and/or challenges.

On the other hand, choosing to rent over buying in high cost areas like coastal southern California is a one way ticket to a less than ideal financial end of the story. When you rent, and lose your job, you have very few options, no options breeds stress, and stress finds a way to negatively affect all other parts of your life.
