About Joe Reichert

Joe Reichert is an award-winning leader with a simple mantra; teams succeed when people succeed. An aerospace engineer by trade, Joe has spent his career shifting the leadership paradigm at some of the largest defense contractors in the United States. Currently an engineering manager, he founded the first of its kind Accountable Leader Questionnaire for employees to be heard and give feedback on their leaders. Joe then set his eyes on how to better facilitate the growth of emerging leaders around him. Frustrated at seeing corporate leadership development programs churning out managers and not leaders, he designed one with a new premise; leadership and management are fundamentally different things. However, it wasn't until searching for a primer on the topic to share with his students that he realized this separation is not the status quo. Joe now spends his free time authoring a book that will soon give new leaders the guidance they need to become modern leaders.

Joe holds two Masters Degrees (Aerospace Engineering, Organizational Leadership) and a B.S. in Mathematics. He is a former college football athlete and national champion, later becoming the head coach an American semi-professional rugby team. When away from managing his team of aerospace engineers Joe enjoys oil painting, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and their dog in the Colorado mountains.
