About Roseanne
I am a 53 year old mother of three boys aged 20, 25, and 30. I was married for 7 years, divorced, and have been remarried for 21. I have training and volunteer experience as a: nursing student; postpartum doula; breastfeeding support doula; lay mental health advocate with a religious organization; minister to incarcerated women dealing with issues such as addictions and parenting; support person for people in a separation/divorce recovery group; volunteer facilitating groups for children and teens, receiving parenting training at a domestic violence shelter; I owned a private art studio; and I have taken design classes, painting classes, drawing classes, ceramics classes, sociology, psychology, abnormal psychology in children and adolescents, crisis intervention, and beginning counseling and assessment techniques with requisite internships. I was married to my current husband during his 10 years in the USMC, have experienced PTSD as a mother of a child who was a victim of violent crime, and I have a wealth of personal life experience to draw from. I believe all of these things, in addition to coach training, make me qualified. I have chosen not to receive formal certification to remain independent.
