Passing kidney stones helped me find my story.

: I wrote Release It Into the Ground after a single page in my self-therapy journal grew into a story about five grieving strangers who begin to heal one another in a forgotten hospital in the Florida Panhandle. Inspired by my real-life experiences with my wife, Cici, the novel explores how love, loss, and relationship can help us heal. I believe storytelling is one of the most powerful tools to process grief, find connection, and extend grace — for ourselves and others.
