I have worked in schools as a psychologist, been a public speaker, had a private practice in family therapy and neurofeedback, been a college professor, published 3 books with a 4th on the way, and I've been a waitress and a lathe operator.
My award winning book, "It's Not How SMART You Are It's HOW You Are Smart: 47 Ways to Raise Your EQ has just been re-issued. I have lived in the Seattle area for many years and I see the Space Needle from my front window. I grew up in Gas City, Indiana. I'm married, we have 4 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 bad cats.
The other books I wrote are: "The Teacher's School Conference Playbook: New Ways to Work With Parents for Kids' Success," and one for everyone called The Porch Swing Cookbook, which I wrote with my sister. It is a charming collection of letters that our warm, loving, and very funny grandmother wrote to us when we were new brides and lived far from Gas City.
