About Pat Sullivan

I coached basketball for 44 years - 10 at the high school level and 34 at the collegiate level. I also taught and served in administrative roles at both levels. As the Athletic Chair at the University of St. Francis, I was leading 370 student-athletes and 60 coaches.
I did have some success in my career. My teams won 602 games. I was named Coach-of-the-Year 11 times from Conference, State, and the Midwest Region and have been inducted into 8 Halls of Fame. I received Lifetime Achievement awards from Lewis University, the Joliet, Illinois Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. The recreation center at the University of St. Francis is named the Pat Sullivan Center.
I have spoken to businesses, including executives from IBM and Accenture, from Boston to San Francisco on the importance of Attitude in a Leadership position. I have also presented, primarily in the Chicago area, on Team-Building. My presentations on basketball have been extensive. They include the Chicago Nike Basketball Clinic and throughout the country with the USA Coaches Clinics. as well as in Austria, Belgium, Ireland, and Greece.
I am the father of 5 children and thirteen grandchildren and my wife, Peg, and I live in Shorewood, Illinois.
