: Chetan Verma Global Business Leader | Entrepreneur | Mentor & Startup Advisor I am a business builder at heart. Over 20 years, I have launched, scaled, and transformed businesses across financial services, agri-commodities, logistics, and trade finance — working across India, Africa, and global markets with organisations like Maersk, Olam, HSBC, and Citi. What drives me is the belief that the hardest part of any business challenge isn't the strategy, it's getting people to believe in the same thing and move together. That conviction has shaped how I lead: with and without authority, across functions, cultures, and geographies. Today, I am focused on contributing to India's growth story. I am co-founding a trade finance venture, actively mentoring founders, advising early-stage startups, and selectively investing in businesses that are solving real problems. I am also a member of Inflection Point Ventures, one of India's largest angel networks, and recently participated as a Market Panelist on Bharat Ke Super Founders. I care deeply about skilling, employment, and creating opportunities for the next generation of Indian entrepreneurs, and I bring the same energy to the boardroom, the mentoring table, and the investor conversation. Outside of work, I play basketball, go mountaineering, ride a bike, and write poetry, pursuits that keep me curious, grounded, and thinking differently.
