Bob Herb has spent three decades as a teacher, coach, and writer, inspiring young minds both in the classroom and on the field. A graduate of George Mason University with a degree in English and a passion for storytelling, Bob has dedicated his career to helping students grow through literature, sports, and character development.
An award-winning coach and educator, Bob has written extensively about sports, leadership, and teamwork. His books include How to Leave a Lasting Legacy Through CARE, Baseball Bunting: The Lost Art, The Larkrest Detective Agency (an early reader mystery series), and Dot to Dot In Space, and his articles have been featured in numerous magazines.
Whether coaching a baseball team, teaching English, or crafting stories, he believes in the power of perseverance, respect, and enthusiasm—values that shine through in his writing.
When he’s not writing or coaching, Bob enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Sherri, sons, Braden and Jake), sharing his love of reading, and inspiring young athletes to compete with character.
