About Chad Eaton

I am a 37 year old male with a diverse background. I grew up living and working on a 350 milking head dairy farm in Vermont. Went to high school at a prestigious private academy. I earned student of the year in drafting in my senior year having completed all the course work and drawing several homes or remodels for teachers. I earned a bachelors of science in industrial design from Wentworth institute of technology. While in college I had several jobs and internships. Including building custom motorcycles at GP custom cycles, working with a team at Artisent to develop helmet and strap systems for a broad range of clients, designing POP displays for staples, as well as working as a chef in the schools kitchens and with their catering department. After college I worked for WET design creating a position for myself as their only production designer but also had a big role in the legacy products WET sent to Dubai for the worlds largest fountain. After about 4 years in LA I left for my childhood home of Kalispell MT. Mostly looking for a simpler life removed from the noise and congestion of the city. Once here I established myself with a local home builder using my trade skills. I built homes during the day and on nights and weekends worked to build my business selling a wide array of custom Art, sculpture, furniture, 3d printing services, welding, design, and plethora of other design and fabrication. I primarily worked In the Ironhorse community and many of our clients building new homes also purchased services from my design company. I would also sell at local farmers markets and artists and craftsmen fairs. I now work as a contractor and still sell my services on the side, work as a podcaster putting out my show Live, from Montucky, and have been rebuilding my 05 jeep TJ on the side. Including a custom 1 of a kind camper top. I am and have been for years an avid consumer of books, film, the news, and pop culture and music. I am a through Nerd and geek. I love all things related to technology. I was a ski patroller for 5 years as a teenager. I also love critical thinking and never shy away from a good conversation. I have a wealth of knowledge on nearly any subject or can relate with my personal experience to near any person. I'm looking to make friends, add value, and help people. Thanks so much for reading.
