Larry Wenzel

An author of modern fiction who does not seek to teach or preach but rather empathetically portray Christians facing spiritual challenges often in coming-of-age settings.

: My author-name is L. D. Wenzel, but you can call me Larry. I am a retired American who has lived and worked in Norway for many years. I grew up in the Midwest (Minnesota and Wisconsin) I was in the military for years and then got involved in the Jesus People (commune) movement in the 1970s. I then attended Wheaton College, where I majored in philosophy. From there, I started writing philosophical novels in an evangelical setting. Then I moved to Norway, where I got married and became the father of 2 lovely girls. Here, I have lived and worked ever since. After some years, I have started writing again. My present novel, which I would love to profile as a podcast guest, is called. A Witch in the Wardrobe. It involves the legacy of C. S. Lewis, an Irish girl from Belfast, a Christian literature professor, and a Midwest evangelical college. Hope some find my project interesting.
