About Garima Singh

From a small town in Punjab, India, to the cityscape of Dallas, TX, in 2016 Garima Singh's, journey is a testament to resilience, cultural richness, and entrepreneurial brilliance.

As a proud BIPOC community member, Garima's entrepreneurial spirit blossomed from her experiences in Corporate America’s Fortune 500 companies, where she felt a void in wellness and inclusivity awareness. The need to heal and focus on oneself ignited her determination to introduce the ancient practices to the Western world.

She established Coquihalla, in Vancouver, BC in 2022, to not just build a company, but a sanctuary of knowledge and tools that make it easy to weave yoga and ancient rituals into our modern lives. This trailblazing, bootstrapped venture is not merely about revenue generation; it's a conduit for holistic growth, addressing wellness, grief, and trauma.

She teaches The Coquihalla Method, taught at the Wellness Retreats, which delivers a framework for people to embrace healthy lifestyles through practical, sustainable, and time-efficient steps.

Beyond borders, Coquihalla extends its impact, supporting non-profit initiatives in India that contribute to education, healthcare, and environmental conservation. Garima's altruistic vision is reflected in the company's commitment to funding the education of one child in India, the birthplace of yoga, for every retreat sold.

Having weathered life's storms, Garima understands the healing power of ancient wisdom and the importance of accessible tools for personal growth. Coquihalla is on a mission to heal the world by imparting timeless knowledge and providing practical tools (with education on how to use them) for transformation. This was a company built during the lowest times of her life, when she was at rock bottom facing the loss of her job, visa, two grandparents, and the love of her life all at the same time. And, she took support of these tools, and the community around her to keep moving forward. Once she started to heal, it was time to give back, and that’s when Coquihalla was born.
