About Rana SUG Davis

Aside from being a mother of three and a grandmother of four, a recent divorcee after 30 years of marriage, I am also:

* Blogger of Sugnotes

* Life Coach, My SUG Spot Life Coaching

* Co-Creator of Our Journey From we to ME™, a community for divorced individuals

* CEO of Authentically SUG, LLC.

* Designer of SUG Style T-Shirts with my signature slogan "RU SUGing"? and “life happens. LIVING TAKES EFFORT”

As a Life Coach, my philosophy “is that everyone has the ability to CAD given the grace and space to do so, the proper tools to use, and a committed, skilled coach and supportive networks to make wise decisions for their lives.”

My SUG Spot Life Coaching utilizes a value-based practice of Being Present, Aware, and Knowing or "PAK" to guide clients through uniquely designed and thought-provoking programs such as:

My SUG Spot – Whatcha Wanna CAD?
Know Thyself N30Days
Story Rewrite ~ From we to ME: (coming soon) ~ a personal based program created for women who are reclaiming, rediscovering, and reinventing themselves after a separation or divorce. Believe me, I understand the “struggle” and it is real!

Yet, aside from my numerous professional certifications, accomplishments and entrepreneurial endeavors, my greatest and most personal undertaking is my blog, SUGnotestes (due to a web transfer from WordPress to GoDaddy I lost my content and will have to reupload…please stay tuned). Through this platform birthed in 2015 after a three year period of self- reflection, self-forgiveness and self-healing, I chronicle personal stories from 1979, when at age 15, I met a uniquely-dressed tar-colored and mysterious 19-year-old man in the dimly lit parking after the Dunbar Senior High School dance in Baltimore, Maryland. Within 9 months of meeting him and a six-year span, I became a mother at 16, wife at 19, and widow at 22 (the same day as their daughters’ 6th birthday). During those years, I was ill-equipped to discern his deep-seeded demons - the very demons that tried to destroy and haunt me as well. It was my deceased grandmother’s words “you better save yourself and your child” that gave me the courage to leave even before his death and begin the journey of rebuilding my life..
