I'm Thomas Duliban—a mental health professional, crisis worker, and neurodivergent storyteller with lived experience navigating bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and a childhood diagnosis of PDD-NOS. For over half a decade, I’ve held space for others in their darkest hours—on crisis lines, in emergency rooms, and in moments most people never witness.
But what happens when the person trained to stay calm in chaos breaks down themselves?
I speak from the raw intersection of professional expertise and personal unraveling—where holding it all together becomes impossible, and healing finally begins. My story weaves clinical insight with first-person truth: the emotional toll of helping others while quietly drowning, what real recovery looks like from both sides of the crisis line, and why the system is still failing those who serve it.
I bring heart, humor, and hard-won clarity to conversations around mental health, burnout, vicarious trauma, and resilience—without romanticizing any of it. I'm here to speak for the caretakers, the chronically strong, and the ones still trying to make peace with their own minds.
Let’s change the narrative—together.
