About Tracy Rowe

Words have always been my first, most endearing love. Especially in the way they come together to create worlds upon worlds. My prose and poetry combine to touch the soul and hopefully bring hope and healing. Or at least a smile. Artist, author, and storyteller, I’m usually pretty good with a joke. Whether sketching, painting, or writing very bad poetry as a kid (I got better at it), books were always part of my life. When all the other kids were sleeping, I was under my blankets with a flashlight and a book. Which is probably why my eyes are so bad. Take a warning from that, kids.

After a 25-year career in theater, I took a playwrighting class. The actors who performed my ten-minute play and the audience who attended the reading begged to know the rest of the story, and that is how my first novel, Blessed Sinner was born. What started as a short story slowly became a novel, then stretched out to two novels. Damned Saint, the sequel to Blessed Sinner, will be released later in 2023, with a prequel in draft stage.

My book of poetry, Musings of a Woman out of Place, Poetry and Other Things, is a grouping of poetry and short prose written while I lived in LA and after I moved back home to Connecticut, where I currently live with my cat and keep an English garden on my porch.
