About Jessica

Jessica is an Acupuncturist and herbalist practicing in Minnesota. Jessica found her way to Chinese medicine through the same way that many people do: through sickness and suffering.
She had long struggled with chronic back pain from scoliosis, insomnia and immune/allergy issues since childhood. Jessica was amazed at the radical transformation she found through Chinese medicine and thus decided to pursue it herself.
Jessica has studied a variety of healing arts. In 2009, she completed an 200 hour yoga Teacher training from the Aruyveda Center in Alachua, FL.
In 2012, she earned her BA in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder with an emphasis in health and mindfulness meditation.
She went on to earn her MA of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College, graduating in 2016.
Jessica’s study of herbs began in Western Herbalism under Brigitte Mars in 2009. She completed several semesters of Chinese herbalism courses in her graduate Acupuncture program and apprenticed under senior herbalists at Selby Acupuncture from 2021-2023.
She is certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is currently licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She owns and works out of her own private practice in MN.
