About Gina Benavides

I am Gina, I am a software engineer from Venezuela. I have always had a special interest in fashion, even though I have never been the most stylish person in any room. Working as a sales assistant in Zara while I was living overseas in Ireland, I realized that I struggled with helping customers styling an outfit, which was a common request in the store. Of course, that showed me that I was not the only one having this issue, so I came up with the idea to build a tool to help people with the same problem.

Fashiers is a mobile app where people can learn how to style an outfit. It is basically a personal stylist at your finger tips. Our mission at Fashiers is helping users find different ways to style the same garment/accessory, create their own style, discover the latest trends from a variety of online stores and share their tips and style ideas with our community and on social media. I manage to learn how to use social media to grow our users base, so we have now over 10k registered users with an instagram community of over 120k. And we want to keep spreading the message to bring on board more people that have this same problem so we can inspire them to feel confident with whatever they wear for any given occasion.
