About Patricia Smith Griffin

With a background in broadcasting and communications, Patrica Smith Griffin’s career boasts an impressive thirty year track record of delivering compelling programming with women in mind. She has held broadcaster, on-air talent and producer titles with WHIO Cox Broadcasting, WROU Dayton, Ohio, and American Urban Radio Networks and in 1999 founded The Women’s Radio Network. As an independent radio producer, Patricia, leads creative, marketing and delivers to market pre-recorded and live show formats. Her highly praised show “Keeping Secrets,” aired in multiple formats as well as a live stage production.

Patricia’s strong Ohio matriarchal line lead to her passion project, researching the family history that dates back to 1802 and her fourth great grandmother, Charity Davis Caesar Broady. Family archives, pristinely preserved, motivate this story of an African American Family’s contribution to the shaping of America. As founder of the Charity’s Children Project, Inc.
