A native of Illinois and a Maryland transplant by way of the military, Zormarah (Zhee) Lyda is a multifaceted veteran with 17 years of proven experience in the federal government Leadership as a Human Resources Supervisor, Change Manager, Master Resilience Trainer and Equal Opportunity Leader. Her passion for advocacy and deep commitment to guide others, led her to becoming a Life & Leadership Coach at Candidly Unsed, a business she started in 2021 to help tomorrow’s leaders today. Zormarah is a recipient of multiple awards for outstanding performance and professionalism including the Presidential Service Badge, earned while serving as a full-time staff member to the President of the United States. She is an active member of the National Leadership Honors Society and the Tau Upsilon Alpha National Organization for Human Services Honors Society. She continues service beyond the call of duty as a Military Advisory board member for Maryland’s fourth district under Congressman Glenn Ivey and a Social Justice Advocate board member at Helping Ourselves to Transform. Zormarah’s excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, candor, humor, and a track record of working cohesively with elite government officials has prepared her for a life of servant leadership.
