About Vern Mathis

There is a big stigma associated with mental health in our country. People who are victims of violent trauma may not know or understand why they may have the thoughts, and or feelings they are suffering with. Many people go undiagnosed with PTSD, most for years as I did. My book answers the questions, provides solutions, gives comfort, knowledge, and understanding to the many that suffer in silence every day.

Over the course of my recovery from PTSD I documented my progress, and my setbacks. This helped me rebuild my confidence and understand that we can get better. This is what lead me to develop my 21 Day Mental Fitness program to help others.

My book is now physician endorsed and, physician recommended reading:

“PTSD Living on Edge is a true and very real look at PTSD and the effects trauma has on a person’s body, mind, and soul.”
The truth is sometimes hard to hear, the facts are real, the cause and effects of PTSD are just as real.
Our world has just experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, and that has exposed the average person to a new form of trauma, and the after-effects of the pandemic. Here you will find answers, you will find help, and you will discover ways to a better and healthier direction.
I do recommend reading Vern’s book, and the 21-day Mental Fitness Program he has created is a systematic practice that we all should, and can use every day”.
