A seasoned entrepreneur, Chad's journey as a business leader started in college while going to Ohio State University where he laid the foundation of his first company, Choice Recovery, Inc. A third party collection agency that proved to be one of the toughest industries in business.

Collection Agencies are typically associated with a negative stereotype. However, Chad cultivated a world-class award winning company culture that thrived on collaboration and individual empowerment, which helped his company get recognized as a "Best Place to Work" award winner for over a decade, twice being ranked the #1 business to work for in Central Ohio.

Chad continued his aim to uplift individuals' lives and careers when he started his second company, [re]start, as a new division at his agency. [re]start, a career development platform was designed to connect people to live career advisors who recommend meaningful employment opportunities. [re]start helped Choice Recovery become an outlier in the collection industry as the the only collection agency in the country helping people thrive professionally so they can get out of debt.

Recognizing the potential of [re]start as a standalone venture, Chad sold Choice Recovery, Inc. on the company's 25th anniversary in October of 2022, so he could focus 100% on expanding the reach of this innovative solution to other companies. He built software to help support job-seekers which earned the company the coveted Biz Tech Outstanding Innovation Award.
