Anu Kay is an author whose literary journey began in Europe, inspired by a passion for weaving India’s rich heritage into contemporary narratives. Her novels captivate readers by intertwining the ancient with the modern, crafting immersive and thought-provoking tales laced with mystery and magical realism. With a balance of thorough research and creative intuition, Anu ensures historical accuracy while allowing her imagination to bridge cultures and time periods.
Anu holds a Master’s in Computer Applications from SJCE Mysuru, India, and studied Creative Writing, Journalism, and Visual Culture & Marketing at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Her stories explore themes of identity, belonging, power, and memory, inviting readers to see the past as something still unfolding. When not writing, Anu finds inspiration in yoga, meditation, and nature walks.
Her latest novel, The Asura’s Curse (Srishti Publishers, 2025), and her acclaimed debut, Like the Radiant Sun (Crossword Bookstores, 2021), both reimagine Indian mythology through gripping, character-driven storytelling.
