: As someone who has worked as a direct-to-consumer service provider in mental health for the past 7 years, I have learned so much from the consumers I’ve worked with. I have also been in the mental health system, been to school for psychology and English studies, and have been a mental health advocate for much longer than my career has spanned. I write articles on mental health and would love to discuss histories, current practices, problems with the system, and strengths in the system.
