About Howard Dorre

I write and cohost the irreverent (but well-researched) history podcast Plodding Through The Presidents, where we take deep narrative dives into lesser-known stories about the early republic. My research has been cited on Snopes.com and I've spoken at history conferences about women who shaped the early presidencies and popular myths about John Quincy Adams. I have a background in improv comedy and in addition to the presidential history blog, my work has been published on McSweeney's Internet Tendency.

If you're looking for someone who can speak about the early presidents and their families (particularly John, Abigail, and John Quincy Adams), or about debunking historical myths about the presidents, then I'd love to share my insights with you.
