R.J. Post, the author of "Lion Taming, Dating and Other Dangerous Endeavors," is not afraid to poke the bear, feel the feels and chuckle at the world around him. A writer with more than 35 years experience, R.J. grew up in Ohio and Kansas and graduated from a small, private college that’s been closed for a quarter of a century. He gleefully toiled in newsrooms as a reporter, editor and manager for more than 30 years. Although he fondly recalls the newspaper business as his “crazy ex-girlfriend,” he now embraces the life of a marketing copywriter. He enjoys used-book shops, vinyl records, silent movies, marching bands and dysfunctional love songs.
