About Peter Gibb

It began at a party. Why, I wondered, were some people having such a good time while others lurched about on the sidelines. I spent 25 years as a consultant for corporations, non-profits, and government agencies, helping doctors and lawyers and bakers and janitors talk to one another. A secret I discovered: it has nothing to do with being an introvert or an extrovert. I've published a multiple-award winning memoir (King of Doubt) about my own struggles with Imposter Syndrome and self-doubt. My current offering is the forthcoming non-fiction book, Mindful Conversation: How to Talk with Anyone about (almost) Anything. . I focus on helping people communicate in a way that enables authentic conversation, using the best in speaking and listening. The conversation may be with family, friends, work colleagues, a spouse, a client, or someone in line at the DMV. It may even be with yourself. Self-talk is also a vital form of conversation. Whether you want to attract more friends, renew a love relationship or get along better with work colleagues or family members, Mindful Conversation will bring new spark, energy and depth to your relationships.
